Ms. Sherrard worked at Anaconda Aluminum, General Electric, and taught immigrants through the Board of Education. She was a former member of the Audubon Park Garden Club.
Ms. Sherrard was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Nadine Runner, her husband Glenn Sherrard, her daughter Lisa Tharp Needham, and a grandson, Eric Needham.
She is survived by a son, Joe Sherrard (Robin) of Cox’s Creek; two sisters, Myrna Gibbs of Louisville and Sandi Joiner of Cave City. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Stephanie Needham and Tamara (Adam) Rhodes and three great- grandchildren, Eric Collard, Aiden Jackey and Carson Rhodes.
A private family graveside service was held at Resthaven Memorial Park.
