Patsy Schartung

Patsy Ann Schartung, age 90, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025. She was born to Edgar Damron, Sr. and Laura Hames Damron on April 20, 1935, in Huntsville, Alabama. Patsy was an adored mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed. She was a devout member of the Guardian Angels Catholic Church. Known to be a hard worker, Patsy worked for 25 years as a waitress at the Executive Inn and then worked 20 years as a pharmacy technician, retired at age 83. She loved to walk marathons and frequented the gym as long as she could.

Along with her parents, Patsy is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Raymond Schartung, her brother Edgar Damron, Jr., and many other beloved family members.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Michael Beal (Karen), Janet Hollis, and Marty Beal; Paula Gentry, and other cousins; 8 Grandchildren, and 14 Great-Grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Angie Black and Susan Barfield, who took such good care of Patsy to the end.
