He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Rosa Lee Thomas; grandchildren, Remington and Rosemary; brothers, Robert Thomas and Gene Thomas; and his sisters, Carol Hill and Gloria Thomas. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Vickie DeVore Thomas; daughters, Angela Uebelhack(Marc) and Wendy Stevens(Jeff); grandchildren, Natalie Kaelin, Gavin Kaelin, and Lylah Uebelhack; brother, Richard Thomas(Doris); sister, Ann Martin; brother-in-law, Larry DeVore; sister-in-law, Sheila Wasson; and his nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2pm Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Evergreen Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made to American Heart Association.
