Polly Grace Phillips

She had worked as a custodian (cause janitors have keys!) for Big Lots and as a paper shredder at Miles Ahead Music. She participated in day programs at BonAir, and Mariposa. She enjoyed arts and crafts. She had a sense of humor that never stopped and she was loved by everyone who came in contact with her. She was a great story teller, sometimes too good. She loved to shop and eating out was her favorite thing to do. She loved shrimp "but without the cornbread" on it.

Polly is preceded in death by her grandparents, Nelda and Earl Day and George and Polly C Phillips.

She is survived by her mother Joyce Wood (Bob), aunts Clara Day Kappesser (Bobby), Teresa Smith and uncle David Sneed (Rhonda). Cousins Callie and Cory Kappesser, and Tayshaun Davis. and sister Anna Marie Phillips. Her father, James Phillips (Angela) . Polly considered everyone family. Her adopted aunts were Janice Doreck and PJ Hill. Her care givers over the years included Terra Jones, Ivy Edwards, Darlene Meyer, Tarquilla, Barbara Wyatt and many more. All her friends at the day programs were her best friends, there are just too many to list. Current kitty Oliver will miss her. She loved Lady the shitzu and Crystal the German shepherd.

A visitation for Polly will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady and Son - Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave, Louisville, KY 40206. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Arch L. Heady and Son - Cralle Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery at a later date where she will lay at rest with her Granny.
