Radames "Pete" Ortiz Pierantoni

Pete was born on March 12, 1942 in Ponce, Puerto Rico to the lates’ Radames Pierantoni & Josefina Ortiz. Pete served in the United States Army for 22 years during Vietnam. He was a retired 1St Sergeant, an Honorable Kentucky Colonel and retired from the United States Postal Service as a Postal Supervisor as well. He was also a former Commander & member of the Pleasure Valley VFW Post – 1181.

Pete is preceded in death by his parents, Radames Pierantoni & Josefina Ortiz; wife, Carol Pierantoni; 1 brother and 1 sister.

Left to cherish his memory is his children, Michael Shawn (Heather) McKell, Mitchell McKell and Keith (Rhonda) Pierantoni; grandchildren, Aaron, Austin, Sean, Nichole, Ashleigh, Piper and Lane; 8 – great grandchildren plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021 in the Evergreen Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and then again on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m. also at the Funeral Home.

Entombment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums.

In lieu of customary expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the VFW Post – 1181.
