He was a retired Water Treatment Operator at BF Goodrich for 34 years, a Mason for over sixty years, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over fifty years. He was a Deacon Emeritus with the Buechel Park Baptist Church.
Raymond is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Dorothy E. Lynch.
He is survived by his daughter Sue Cahoe (Jim) of Louisville KY, sister, Essie Faye Vincent (Rual) of New Castle IN; grandchildren, Shannah Montgomery (Jeff) of Athens GA, and Melena Dailey (John) of Lexington KY.; and four great grandsons. Raymond is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 12 noon Friday, September 23, 2011, in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. A visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. Thursday September 22, 2011 and after 11 a.m. the day of the service.
