Raymond John McGoff

Born to the late Shryl and Vera McGoff, Raymond is also preceded in passing by his best friend and sweetheart of 69 years, Mary McGoff; their daughter Annette; and siblings Shyrl, Jenner, Millie, and Betty. Here to carry on his memory are his children Cathy Campbell (Donnie), Michael McGoff (Linda), Mark McGoff (Diane); son-in-law Bobby Smith; sister-in-law Charlotte Wright; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Raymond was a proud decorated Korean War Veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. He had a wonderful sense of humor and held his family very close to his heart. He was an avid dancer, his favorite hobbies included dancing with his beautiful bride, and playing golf. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

A visitation will be held Monday, February 8, 2021 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm. A funeral service in Raymond’s honor will begin Tuesday morning at 10:00 am at the funeral home. This service will be virtually streamed over our Facebook page, “Arch L. Heady at Resthaven”. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville, 3532 Ephraim McDowell Dr, Louisville, KY 40205.
