Richard was a huge Tony Stewart fan and staunch University of Louisville supporter.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Deborah Quire; a daughter Loretta Skaggs; and a grandson, little Ricky Quire.
Left to cherish Richard’s memory are his children, Lisa Lynn Page (Rodney); a son Rick Quire, Jr., (Michelle); a brother Billy Quire; grandchildren, Shontae, Felicia (Rob), Larry Wayne, Joey and Elizabeth; great grandchildren, Josh, Tyler, Zowie and Arieanna; and a brother-in-law Danny Cravens.
A service to celebrate Richard’s life will be held at 7 pm on Saturday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Visitation will be after 11 am on Saturday. Private burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
The family would like to say thank you to Hosparus of Louisville and the nurses and doctors on the 4th floor of Norton Hospital. A special thank you is extended to Shannon Adette for all of her help and support.
