

Walker, Richard Leo, 61, on June 2, 2017 God picked a special rose, the most beautiful bloom ever. Rick loved the outdoors, camping, and watching UK play ball. He was a member of St. Martha Church and Louisville Racing Pigeon Club. He lived for the day.
He worked long hard hours at Cardinal Lithographing/Deluxe and Welch Printing Companies for 31 plus years. He earned and received his Certificate of Craftmanship from the Master Printers of America as a Cutter Operator in April, 1990.
He was preceded in death by his parents James E. and Edith L. Walker; Aunt Deloris “Sis” Walker; sister Deloris M. Payne (Larry) and brother James E. Walker, Jr. (Suzie).
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Adelaide (Johnson); devoted son Jason (Stacy), grandsons, Issac and Trinity; sister Nancy Bryan (Rick), father in-law Wallace R. Johnson, and many brother/sister in-laws along with nephews and nieces.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 12:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home with a visitation from 3:00 – 8:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
Adelaide and Jason wish to thank Hosparus, family members and friends, for their help with his brief illness.
In liew of flowers, donations may be made to Hosparus, Juvenile Diabetes Association, or Mass of the Air.
