She was born to the late Edna and Vincent Johnson in Cleveland, TN. Rita is also preceded in passing by her daughter, Becky Corbell and brother, Charles Johnson.
Rita was an outgoing woman who never met a stranger. She would light up the room when she entered with her smile and her happiness. Family was very important to her, always coming first. Rita retired from National City Bank after many dedicated years.
Here to carry on her memory is her husband of 67 years, John O. Corbell, daughters, Rhonda Corrigan (Tom) and Holly Goode (Rob), grandchildren; Troy, Shawn, Lauren, Spencer, Shelby, and Danelle, 15 great-grandchildren and sister, Nancy Horton from Orlando, Florida.
A celebration of Rita's life will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218 on Wednesday, January 4th at 12:00 PM.
Rita will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218.
