

Rita Hack Curtsinger, 87, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Thomas and Mary Wooldridge. Rita was retired from General Electric and Churchill Downs and was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church and St. Athanasius Catholic Church. She was also a tireless worker for the Right to Life of Kentucky and St. Jude’s Women’s Recovery Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Her first husband Earl Hack preceded Rita in death. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 25 years, Harvey Curtsinger Jr.; children, Robert Hack (Leta), Douglas Hack, Denise Buskill (Mick), Cynthia McCullough (Robert), Brenda Parker (John Henry), Mike Stark (Paula) , Tammy Giancola (Vincent); fourteen grandchildren, twenty- two great grandchildren; two surviving siblings, Marilyn Hagan and Helen Henry, and many other family members and friends. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 10am at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 5915 Outer Loop, Louisville, Kentucky 40219 with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, December 29, 2017 from 2-8 pm, Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 2-8 pm and Sunday, December 31, 2017 from 2-6 pm, with the Rosary at 4 pm, at Arch L.
