He was born in Sulpher, KY, to the late Morris and Tommie Baxter on November 15, 1927. Bob worked at General Electric for 32 years before becoming a self-employed electrician. He was a World War 2 Army veteran.
Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Baxter.
Bob is survived by his children, Wayne Baxter (Kris) and Robin Pullias (Charles); grandchildren, Mike Pullias (Cindy), Dave Pullias (Marci), J.B. Pullias (Becky), Ben Baxter, and Lauren Smalley (Brandon); 6 great grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Davis; and special family friend, Sandy Heitkemper.
Mr. Baxter’s family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Traditions at Beaumont Assisted Living, for their kind and compassionate care of Bob throughout his time there.
A Celebration of Life for Bob will be held Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 2:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 11:00am-2:00pm.
