

He was a Minister with the Methodist and Nazarene Church for many years and had founded 33 Churches including, Mt. Albert Nazarene Church in Ontario, Canada, Temperance Nazarene Church in Michigan, Kennedy Road Nazarene Church in Toronto, Canada, Norwich Nazarene Church in Norwich, Connecticut and Millinocket Church of the Nazarene which started in a tent in Millinocket, Maine. He traveled the world and was active in the New England District.
He was ordained a Nazarene Minister at the same time as his two brothers, Ira and Thomas by the General Superintendent, Dr. Hardy C. Powers.
Reverend Fowler was a District Manager for the Presbyterian Minister’s Fund Life Insurance Company which has the distinction of being the first Life Insurance Company in America and traveled with the Billy Graham Crusade on many occasions. The Reverend served with the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Presbyterian Theological Seminary and Asbury Methodist Seminary. He was a member of the Nazarene Church and attended Southeast Christian Church. Reverend Fowler was a United States Army Veteran.
He traveled the world and was active in the New England District.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 72 years, Ruth Leveria Fowler; three sons, Randy Fowler (Linda), Ken Fowler and Larry Fowler (Joan); three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
A gathering of remembrance in honor of Reverend Fowler will be conducted at 12:00pm Wednesday at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Tuesday and from 10am-12pm on Wednesday. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Annapolis, Maryland.
