Robert Owen King, 59, of Louisville, passed away November 2, 2025. He was a 1984 graduate of duPont Manual High School, a drummer for The Mad Taxpayers, and he worked at Louisville Lumber and Millwork for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Peggy King Sr.; grandparents, Frances and Edgar Silliman; cousin, Bruce Wesley Koch; nephew, Adam King; father-in-law, Donald Skaggs Sr.; and his best friend, Chris Hubbs. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Martha Jean Skaggs King; children, Allison Marie "Alice" King and Wesley Owen King; siblings, Donald King Jr.(Terry), David King(Janette), and Jean Woody(Jim); mother-in-law, Martha Pousardien; sisters-in-law, Anna Skaggs(Bobbie) and Stephanie Weedon; brother-in-law, Donald Skaggs Jr.(Misty); and his uncle, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
