Just found out about Ron’s passing. Deepest condolences to his family. Ron and I were very good friends at UofKy. We took a lot of classes together and formed a great friendship. I have rode in his classic Camaro many times at UofKy. We lost contact several years after graduation when I moved to Florida but in late 2016 did get to message back and forth some to get up to date. He was a great guy, friend and will be missed.

I remember Ronnie so well from high school.  Probably one of the shyest people in the class, but always funny and so very, very kind.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends.  

I did not want to believe it was true when I first saw it on Facebook.  Our friendship, both personal & through work, started about 1991.  The many times we visited with you and Ron at both of your  homes are very special memories.  He built a computer from scratch  for us and ALWAYS helped me out when I had a computer issue.  His consistent  caring & friendly mannerisms were so genuine and such a pleasure to be with.  He loved sharing his various projects & never failed to amaze me.  You and Alex are definitely on my prayer list for peace, and pray you can dwell on the warm memories of the years you had together.  It does help us get through the days that follow.  

It was my pleasure to work with Ron for many years in AE Review/Specs. He was always very helpful and pleasant to work with.  He will be missed by many. Prayers for peace for all the family and friends.

I  worked with Ron for many, many years and really enjoyed talking with him.  He always helped me with any electrical questions I had in our design work even if he was not working on the same project.  He's been missed around here since he retired - now he will be doubly missed.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.  Remember the good times and smile!

I worked with Ron during my entire career from writing specs to developing building designs to solving problems for the Louisville District Corps of Engineers.  He was a pleasure to work with, intelligent, and diligent.  His humor and smile made work fun, even as he battled his illnesses.  He was always willing to share his knowledge and help where he could.  I share in your sorrow and will remember him as my friend.

I was shocked to hear of Ron's passing.  He was too young!

I worked with Ron at the Louisville District.  I was in the Contracting Division.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Mary Elizabeth Pepper.

Left to cherish Ron’s memory is his loving wife of 34 years, Deborah; son, Alex (Kelsie) Pepper; sisters, Donna (Bobby) Rodgers and Martha Joyce (Edwin) McLaurin.
