George "Ronnie" Sparks, 72, lifelong resident of Louisville passed away Saturday February 21, 2015 at his home. He was born on December 14, 1942 in Louisville to the late Elmer and Carolyn Sparks. Ron was with Arch L. Heady Oak Street Funeral Home for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Cunnington Sparks; a daughter, Carin Kraus; two grandchildren, Libby Kraus and Hayden Kraus; and one sister, Carol Lynn Sullivan (George); Sister-in-law, Barbara Ballard and Carol Heft; nieces, Anne Humphrey (Pat), Diane Thomson (John) and Lisa Bjotvedt (Doug); and a nephew, David Heft (April).
Funeral Services will be private at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven with private burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 on Tuesday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road.
