I want to thank you and E for raising a remarkable man. A man who changed my life and who I love with every cell in my body, my spirit and my soul. I have great memories of the times we spent together on the hillside in the holler.... the work we did together, the deer we brought down off the hill together, the conversations we had and most of all the times we spent together just sitting in silence listening to the sounds of the Forrest. You found our home, you helped us build our home and you helped us make it our home. I love you and will miss you dearly. I also know Daddy and Momma gave you a big ole hug when you joined them.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Ron.  He was the first coach that I had growing up, and instilled the fundamentals of the game of baseball like no other...  I trust that you have a million great memories to draw upon for a lifetime.

To Janice and the Johnson Family; I know that the last several years of Ronnie's life have been extremely difficult and painful for the Johnson Family because of Ronnie's failing health and I'm so sorry to learn about that. I was just wondering if Ronnie was tested for "CTE", I think that's what it's called. I know Ronnie was a star player for the Male High Football team back in the day and I'm sure he took a lot of hits playing the Fullback Position, and just maybe that had something to do with the early problems Ronnie was having, if so that's a shame.
To me Ronnie was a Classy person and softball player on and off the field, and I'm sure everyone that played would agree with me on that. It was a true honor to call Ronnie my Friend, whether I was his teammate or playing against him. He was a tremendous competitor and never not a competitor! In my own way I loved Ronnie, and I was always happy when I was around him, playing on his side or against his team. Also, I was always happy to be around Janice, we laughed and joked around a lot at the ballparks when we played!! I haven't played for quite awhile now and am battling my own health problems and I'm so sorry I couldn't be at the funeral home to be with Ronnie and help in anyway to support the Johnson family. If there is anything I can do Janice get with Kathy or Billy Haller and let them know how I can help.

Ronnie we will miss you so. I remember all the times we all shared together with Janice and our boys at the ballpark. I remember one game you were up to bat and Janice was on the other side of the bleachers and I was yelling at Ronnie calling to  him hit the ball  Hot Pants and Janice jumped up and said hey that's my hot pants, and then we called to each other hi Sis and laugh and laugh. There was so many other times for at list 45 years of Love and Friendship with our families.  All the Lasagna and Pasta I have made for you all, you really love it. We have laugh and cried for many years. Ronnie please do not worry about  Janice your boys and I will be here for her. I will miss you. Love you Kathy.

A man who was very dear to my heart has left us. I will always cherish the good times we shared together. In the 45 years of our Friendship I never heard 1 person ever have a negative thing to say about Ronnie. He was very well respected man and rightfully so. Ronnie has left us but I know one day I will be with him to play one more softball game with him. Our loss is the Lord's gain, Rest in Peace Ron until we meet again.  Billy
