Ronald Lee "Ron" Wallace, 64, of Louisville, passed away after a brief illness on the evening of December 22, 2012 at Norton Suburban Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was a self employed contractor, a VietNam veteran with the Army National Guard and an avid golfer, and a Kentucky Colonel. He was a member of the Cincinnati Bop Club, Carolina Shag Association of D.J.'s, R & B Association of D.J.'s, and the founding president of the Derby City Bop Club. Family and his love of helping people were his life, along with his advocacy for veterans rights. He was an avid music lover, a fisherman, a collector of music, a computer geek, and an avid U of L fan. He absolutely adored his children and granchildren.
Ron's parents Raymond and Mary Rose Muth Wallace, along with a nephew, Scott Wallace preceded him in death.
Left cherishing his memory is his loving wife and dance partner of 24 years, Bonnie Creech Wallace; sons, Ben Wallace, Michael Creech and daughter, Ashley (Jody) Craig; grandsons, Austin and Alex Craig; twin brother, Don (Pat) Wallace and several nieces and nephews.
