Margaret worked at several different places over the years, including Dreisbach Wholesale Florist and L.S. Ayres, but her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a devoted member of Southside Baptist and Buechel Park Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and helped cook for members of the community.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William Hayward Miller. Left to cherish her memory is her children, Douglas Miller, Kenneth Miller (Debbie), Kathy Diener (Jansen); 11 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
A celebration of Margaret’s life will be take place on Friday, December 28, 2018 (her birthday) at 10am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held 4-8 pm Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank all of the aides at River Crossing, in Charlestown, Indiana, specifically Ricki and Mike, and Amber and Kris from Adaptive Hospice for the excellent care and compassion they showed to Margaret and their entire family.
