Royce Francis

Today I lost the love of my life, my Royce. He was my husband of 49 years. My lover, my constant companion, my very best friend, my protector!

From the moment our eyes met we fell in love, and the love just kept growing and getting deeper.

He was proceeded in death by his mother and father, Price and Addie Francis, his brothers Howard and Rondell, his three children, Mike Donna and Rick, and his mother-in-law, whom he loved, Irene Conn.

Left to carry on is his wife, Marie, his brother Wendell (Martha) and sister Brenda (Jim). His loved care givers, Jerry Norma and Yemmi, they made things much easier. Numerous nephews and nieces whom he loved. His other mother, Mrs. Martin. Many dear friends. He never met a stranger and he could talk the leaves off a tree. Goodbye for now my love, I will be joining you.

A funeral service to celebrate Royce’s life will be conducted at 12 noon on Monday, January 25, 2016 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 3-8pm on Sunday, January 24, 2016 and after 9am the day of the funeral.
