He was a retired tool and die maker for International Harvester and Louisville Ladder, a member of Grace Crossing Church / Christian Missionary Alliance, and the Machinists Union.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Virginia Ragland and second wife Marjorie Ragland.
Survivors include a daughter, Ava Ragland; son, Terry Ragland; sister, Delores Pike; brother, Walt Ragland; grandchildren, Jalesa Ragland, Iman “Christina” Kamran, and Christopher Ragland; and great-grandchildren, Hasan Kamran and Maria Iqbal.
His funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Friday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Thursday.
