She was the mother of five daughters and one son who loved her dearly.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Sarah Fluhr, brothers, Theodore Fluhr Jr. and Thomas Fluhr. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Norma House (Mike), Brenda Downs (Dave), Diane Oliver, Debbie Oliver, Chuck Oliver, and Becky Duncan (Tony). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Extended family, Jim Rentschler, sister-in-laws, Martha Fluhr, Dolly Fluhr, Juanita Travis, brother-in-law, Kenny Oliver.
Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 11am-3pm on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, with a funeral to take place at 3PM in the funeral home chapel. All services will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville KY 40218.
