Sandi was the daughter of the late Chester and Maude Schneider of Louisville. Sandi attended Atherton High School and graduated in 1963. After graduation she attended Western Kentucky College. Sandi worked for the Veterans Hospital in Louisville until her retirement.
Sandi met the love of her life Clyde Walker and was married for many years. She was a lifelong resident of Louisville and proud of the city. She enjoyed cooking, travel, playing cards, Trivial pursuit, wreath and jewelry making. The love of her dogs always had a huge spot in her heart.
Sandi leaves behind an amazing group of friends who were loving and caring. Sandi is survived by her brother, Mike Schneider and wife Sherry of Florida. Her nieces Michelle (Paul) Wilson, Torrie (Kyle) Simmers, Nephew Jason (Katy) Schneider. Grand Niece Aislinn (Alex) Martinez.
A memorial service will be held on June 7, 2025 at 12:00 at Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home 2428 Frankfort Ave. Louisville, KY 40206.
