

Born on May 16, 1943, in Indianapolis, Sandra's life was a testament to love, creativity, and steadfast devotion to her family and God.
Survived by her devoted sons, Ralph and Steve Fellmy; her cherished stepchildren, Janet Berry, Dwight Cischke (Vicky), Troy Cischke (Pam), and Lora Denzik (Steve); and her beloved grandchildren, Blake Fellmy (Autumn) and Shane Fellmy (Cassidy), along with her step-grandchildren; Stephany Risinger, Michael Denzik, Brandon Berry, Josh Berry, Dustin Berry, Jason Cischke, Adam Cischke, Deidre Cischke, Keenan Cischke, and Jennifer Cischke. Sandra was also blessed with one great-grandchild and ten step-great-grandchildren, along with three nieces and 2 nephews. Sandra’s legacy is one of kinship and enduring affections. She was a sister held dear by Katherine Sweney (Bob), brothers; John Parsons Jr. (Lyn), and Mark Parsons (Nadine).
Sandra reunites in eternal rest with her beloved husband of 43 years, Lee Cischke, her stepson Eric Cischke, her parents, John and Jane Parsons, and her sister, Susan Elise Parsons.
A proud graduate of Assumption High School and Ursuline College, and later the American Institute of Banking, Sandra utilized her education in a fulfilling career. Before retiring in 2001, Sandy enriched the lives of many through her years of service at the Bank of Louisville, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and community engagement. Together with Lee, she co-owned and operated Sandy's Coin Laundry, bringing a sense of community to the daily chore of laundry.
Her spirit was characterized by a deep-rooted faith. Her grandsons introduced her to their church, leading Sandra to a life-changing experience, one where she found salvation and was blessed with the Holy Spirit. She was a member of Maryville Baptist Church, where she worshipped and served the Lord whom she dearly loved.
Sandra, alongside Lee, delighted in exploring new horizons on their annual cruises, creating a tapestry of memories filled with adventure and joy. A social butterfly, Sandra reveled in the company of her lady friends, participating in games of Mexican Train and card games where she and her various groups of friends shared laughter. Her artistic side was evident in her creation of mosaic glass art pieces - a hobby that not only showcased her talent but also her eye for beauty.
Sandra Jane Cischke's life was one of unwavering love, friendly companionship, and faith-filled devotion. Her endearing qualities and memory will be cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A visitation for Sandra will be held Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218. A funeral service will occur Friday, November 8, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven.
