Sarah Ella Hurst, 98, of Louisville, passed away March 26, 2012. She was retired from the Jefferson County Board of Education and was a very active lifelong member of Victory Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Harmon Hurst. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Hurst Caruthers(John); grandchildren, John Scott Caruthers, Saralee Caruthers, and Katherine Ann Rhoades(Craig); great grandchildren, John Isaac Rhoades and Katherine Alexandra Rhoades; and sister, Maggie Skinner. A celebration of life service will be 12 noon Friday at O.D. White & Sons Funeral Home 2727 S. Third St. with interment in Lebanon Junction Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6pm Thursday.
