Born to the late Andrew & Annie Pearl Windhorst, Shirley is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard "Scottie" Scott; her siblings Stanley Windhorst, Ollie Windhorst, Ruby "Bunny" Windhorst, and Carl Windhorst.
Here to carry on her memory is her daughter, Stephanie Redmon (Ron); her siblings Alma Bryant and Don Windhorst (Bobby); her sister-in-law Kathy Fisher; and her grandson Jesse Redmon.
She loved to garden, enjoyed baking and especially loved Christmas. She was a Daughter of the American Revolution, and a church organist for many years for both Franklin Street Baptist Church and Bethany Baptist Church.
A visitation will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, located at 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky, 40218, on November 13, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service in Shirley's honor will begin at 12:00 PM at the funeral home on Friday, November 14, 2025. Shirley will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
