

He has battled with lung cancer since December 2012. He was born to the late Charles A. Wolf, Sr. and Frances Haering Wolf on February 5, 1939. Stanley retired from the Physical Plant at Unversity of Louisville after 40 years. He served in the National Guard for 6 years. He was a regular at White Castle in the mornings and nights for the last 12 years. At one time, Stanley was an avid bowler. He was also a regular customer on the weekends at 7th street flea market. Stanley could fix about anything.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles A. Jr. and Albert Wolf; sisters, Frances Caplinger, Doris Walston; infant twin brothers; infant granddaughter, Brinna Wolf.
Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 41 1/2 years, Margaret Nalley Wolf; son, James Wolf (Cyndi); grandchildren, Tyler, Zachary, Samantha, Preston, and Jeremy Wolf, the pride and joy of his life; brother, Robert Wolf (Ethel); sisters, Jeanette Thompson, Florence Roth, Marie Roeder (John); a host of nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Funeral Mass will be 10am on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 1020 E. Burnett Ave., Louisville, KY 40217, with interment to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5-8pm Thursday and from 11am-8pm Friday at Evergreen Funeral Home.
