

Stephanie McGibbon, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, was born on August 18, 1966, in Washington State to Robert See and Marilyn Lowe. She passed away peacefully in her home during the early morning hours of March 24, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, strength, and deep devotion to those she cared for most.
Stephanie was a devoted mother to her daughters, Meghan Vest (Johnathan Vest) and Ashley Dodd (Anthoney Dodd). She found immense joy in her role as a grandmother and will be dearly missed by her grandchildren: Aiden Wayne, Jackson Vest, Mason Atherton, Colbey Dodd, and Raelynn Dodd. Her love for her family was unwavering, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
She is also survived by her sister, Teressa Crawford (Randal Crawford), and her niece and nephew, Taylor Unser and Anthony Unser, with whom she shared many treasured memories.
Stephanie had a vibrant spirit and a love for life’s simple and joyful moments. She adored animals, especially Highland cows, horses, and small fluffy dogs that brought her comfort and happiness. She loved spending time with her family playing Uno, where laughter and friendly competition filled the room. She also had a love for fast cars and the thrill they brought. Music was a constant joy in her life, and she was especially passionate about the bands Rush and Led Zeppelin, whose songs were often part of her days and memories.
Stephanie was a true fighter. She battled kidney disease and cancer with remarkable courage, grace, and unwavering strength. Throughout her many appointments and treatments, she remained calm and resilient, an example of bravery to all who knew her. Her strength was deeply rooted in her faith. Stephanie was a religious woman who loved Jesus, and her faith carried her through life’s greatest challenges, providing her with peace and hope.
Stephanie will be remembered for her kindness, her strong spirit, and the way she brought comfort and love to those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Stephanie’s life will be held at a later date. The family asks that she be remembered for the love she gave and the lives she touched.
