He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Robert Karmire, and Imogene (Firsich) Karmire and a niece, Greta Ann Karmire.
Survivors, his brothers, Kenneth Karmire (Jean), Dean Karmire (Kathy). His sisters, Cardyn Buckley and Candice Karmire (Sandy), 8 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews, and 4 great great nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be celebrated at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218 on Wednesday 2:00PM in the funeral home chapel. Visitation will be held from 12-2PM Wednesday, at the funeral home.
