Thelma was Baptist by faith, retired from Jim Beam Distillery and was a long-time member of the Couples Club.
Thelma was met at the gates of heaven by her husband, Kenneth Hund Doerhoefer, and daughter, Linda Marcum.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Mike Doerhoefer(Jackie), Terry Doerhoefer(Eneida), Penny Brown(Mike), ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, sister, Elizabeth Jackson and many beloved nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members.
Visitation will be Monday, August 7, 2023 from 4-8pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home in Okolona. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:30am at the funeral home with burial at Cave Hill Cemetery.
Expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers may be made to, Crusade for Children or Cabbage Patch Settlement House.
