Thelma Hughes

Preceded in death by parents Logan and Orena Suratt, and her brother Ralph Suratt. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Huie Hughes; Daughter, Missy Fisk (Len); son, Tony Hughes; granddaughter, Hannah Fisk; Grandson, Cameron Fisk; great grandson, Kaiden Fisk; brother Jimmy Suratt (Linda); nieces and nephews and lots of cousins.

Visitation will be held at Arch L Heady and Son Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd, on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Friday. June 5, 2026, at 1:00 pm.

Entombment will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, 4400 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216, US.

Dear Mom,

Life will not be the same without you in it. My mom was an example of the "Proverbs 31" woman. You always took care of everybody first before yourself. Your kind voice always radiated to everyone. Family was so important to you and your Faith. Your love for daddy meant the world to him for 60 years. Tony and I had the most caring, loving, and understanding mom in this world. Your grandchildren, great-grandchild will miss you! We have lost you in this world but Heaven gained an angel of love.
