She was a member of the Christian's Women's Club East, The Louisville Girls High School alumnae, Jeffersontown Baptist Church, Past member of the Order of the Amaranth. Past president of the Louisville Dental Assistant Society and former member of the American Business Woman's Society, Bluegrass chapter. Retired Dental Assistant for the late Dr. Wm. P. Blincoe for 26 years.
Thelma is preceded in death by her brother, Charlie L. Vittitow. She is survived by her four nephews.
A funeral service to celebrate Thelma's life will be conducted on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 2pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Guests are invited to attend a visitation on Monday starting at 11am until funeral time.
