My Uncle Ted was one of the most fun, caring, and amazing people I've ever known. His mere presence could light up a room and his gift of humor kept everyone laughing! I am lucky to have so many happy childhood memories and blessed that he was also a part of my children's lives. To honor his baseball career, I taught a baseball unit every fall around the time of the World Series. My students mouths would fall open when I told them that my Uncle Ted pitched to Jackie Robinson and batted against Satchel Paige! 

Uncle Ted, your legend and legacy will live on in our hearts and minds. You are with Aunt Marg, your baby sister Ruth, big brothers Don and Bill, and big sister Betty. Now you can rest in peace.

My condolences to all of the Wendts. I remember Ted and all of you fondly.

The last of "The Wendt Boys" has passed away.  That great picture of them as ball players for the Marshfield, WI city team will always stay in my mind.  He was a wonderful uncle and a great brother (and brother in law).  My dad was always jealous that both of his brothers, Bill and Ted, got that hole in one on the golf course that eluded my father to the end of his days. Bunny, I am saw in the paper your dad passed away. I am very sorry. It reminded me of the days at the Tennis Club when we would go to your parents house every Friday for Attitude Adjustment. It was a really fun time and your parents were very gracious and nice. Hope you are doing O.K.
