Blume, Thomas "Tom" Lee, 67, passed away October 23, 2016 after losing his battle with brain cancer. He was an Army Veteran who after enlisting, served 3 tours of duty in Vietnam and also received the Purple Heart. Tom retired from USPS after 25 years, was assistant scout master of Troop 2 with the Boy Scouts, and was a proud platelet donor with the American Red Cross where he gave a total of 381 donations, 47 gallons.
Tom leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years, Anne Marie Stastny Blume; children, John Thomas Blume and Rebecca Anne Christensen (Richard); and granddaughter, Destiny Marie Blume.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 12 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel with entombment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 pm-8 pm at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions in memory of Tom can be made to The American Red Cross or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
