Sure hate to hear this. We went to school together and played together in the Shaford Brother's Band. Your sense of humor always made it a pleasure to be around you. RIP Bibby.

 When my wife Gina and I would go  to see the Maguire brothers play, I could  always count on Bibby poking fun at me. He could take it as good as he could dish it out. I loved every minute of it. Take care old friend. You will be greatly missed. 🙏❤️💜🙏

Sometimes someone steps into your life and fills up a space no one else possibly could.  That was Bibby when we met him not so many years ago.  He seemed like family right from the beginning.  Bibby was a genuinely caring and kind man, and as others have said, within minutes of seeing him he would always say or do something that made everyone laugh.  It was like he brought the sunshine with him whenever he was around.  His absence will surely leave a large hole in the lives of his family and his many friends.  Please know that our hearts and our prayers are with you.  

What a great guy.  I'll always cherish the time we spent making music and just the trips together to and from rehearsals. I'm sure going to miss him.

A man with a heart of gold. Everyone was his friend .I never heard him say anything bad about anyone. Wonderful storyteller a big jokester. I will miss him terribly.God took back his angel and left  memories with us.

I met Bibby about 5 years ago through our mutual love of music.  Like most people, I liked him immediately and would always look forward to spending time with him.  One of the things I admired about him is that I don't ever recall him having a bad thing to say about anybody!  He was warm, gracious, funny and had the biggest heart.  He was also very generous.  

Quick story:  I ran into him at Music-Go-Round a few years ago right after we first met.  I asked him what he was doing there and he replied that he was picking up a few piccolo snare drums.  Baffled, I asked him why in the world would he need that many piccolo snare drums. He quipped back that they weren't for him but that he liked to give them away as gifts to fellow drummers.  Before I could respond, he quickly asked me if I needed a piccolo snare drum!  Classic Bibby. Warm, generous, funny and he didn't miss a beat.

We have lost a good man in Bibby and the world is certainly a darker place without him in it.  He will be missed by many, myself included.

To the family and friends of Bibby, please accept my humble condolences.  May God provide you with strength and comfort during this difficult time.



Bibby was my best friend for over 30 years.  We met at the old Warehouse pub and immediaetly hit it off and began playing music together.  Our first band was the Bushberries.  I think Mike Basham came up with that.  My brother Paul jumped in on guitar, Mike sang, and Bibby and I supplied the rhythm with drums and bass guitar.  Through the years Bibby and I would join different bands, start our own, or just jammed by ourselves.  Our lives and our families lives became intertwined.  My Mom and Dad loved Bibby.  My brothers and sister considered him family. Bibby could always supply a joke that would break up a room. I will miss you my brother, travel well,
