Thomas F. Schweinhart

Thomas F. Schweinhart, 81, of Louisville, was born March 13, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky, and passed away January 10, 2023. Tom enjoyed spending time with his family. He liked to cook, fish, and go to Churchill Downs. He graduated from St. Xavier Catholic High School, was a cook for the U.S. Army, and worked for the Louisville Naval Ordnance and United Defense.

Tom was preceded in death by his son, Scott A. Schweinhart; his parents, Elmer and Josephine Schweinhart; and many brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Charlotte Nalley Schweinhart; daughters, Michele Schweinhart(Charlie) and Regina French(Rick); daughter-in-law, Tawnya Schweinhart; grandchildren, Krissy Schweinhart(Travis), Alishia Sallee(Brandon), TJ French(Adrianna), and Brittany Schweinhart(Austin); great-grandchildren, Ashton, Tristun, Scottie, Brisun, Alayna, Isaiah, and Gianni; and his brothers, Eddie and Bobby(Kay). The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Kevin Schweinhart(Tami).

Funeral service will be 12pm Monday, January 23, 2023 at Evergreen Funeral Home with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 12pm-8pm Sunday, January 22, 2023 and 9am-12pm Monday, January 23, 2023. Memorial donations in Tom’s memory can be made to Hosparus and Ronald McDonald House.
