Tim graduated from Seneca High School in 1990 and went on to pursue higher education at the University of Kentucky. He worked as a Supervisor at Facilities Management Services (FMS) for the last 13 years, where his hard work was appreciated by all.
On any given day you could find Tim mowing his yard, smoking food on the smoker, cleaning his pool, or playing tennis. He was a particular guy and did those things so well, all while rocking a sweet vest. He loved sports and all things UK- not everyone makes wise choices and we love him anyway. Tennis was a life-long passion that he shared with friends and more recently with his son and best bud, Drew. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his in-laws. When you hear the phrase "salt-of-the-earth," that was Tim. He was a husband, son, brother, friend; but nothing brought him more joy or pride than being the best dad to Drew and Dylan.
His patience, loyalty and helpfulness had no limits. Tim Fee was the guy everyone liked, he made us all laugh. A lot. Sometimes with him, often at him. He was chronically late and we always joked he'd be late to his own funeral, so you can imagine our surprise that he beat us to heaven. Our hearts are so heavy, but they are also full. We love and miss you so much Tim Fee, thank you for our precious memories. We will see you again.
Tim's memory will live on through his family, including his loving wife Dana (nee Dorr), son Andrew (Drew, 11), daughter Dylan (9); his mother Nancy (Sam) Alvey of Louisville; his sister Jenifer (Bryan) Parker; nieces and nephews Landon (17), Annemarie (14), Lennon (11), and Fitzhugh (9). He is also survived by many patient in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless adoring friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Tim's life will be held on Thursday, December 28th, at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home at Westport Village, located at 7410 Westport Rd, Louisville, KY 40222. A private family visitation will be from 11 am to 12 pm, followed by public visitation from 12 pm to 3 pm. The memorial service will commence at 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Tim's name to the Kentucky LEADS Collaborative through The Markey Foundation. The UK Markey Cancer Foundation supports Kentucky's only National Cancer Institute-Designated cancer center, leading the charge to reverse our state's high rates of cancer and deaths. Contributions can be made online at https://ukmarkey.org/donate-now/.
Tim Fee will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May his soul rest in peace.
