Tom and I were always in the same home room (SHS-Class of 66) He was a great guy and fun to be around. RIP Tommie 🙏🏻

Tommy was my supervisor at Naval Ordnance. He was a stand up guy, always respectful,  very intelligent and was always willing to step in and help his team. Thank you Tommy for always having our back and supporting us. God speed to you and sympathies to your family. 

Tommy You were a best friend and one of the nicest people I have ever met. Generous with your considerable knowledge and devoted to your Family and friends. Your contributions to the US Navy were legendary.  I will miss you greatly.

God bless Uncle Tommie and Christia.  He was a great man & is  going to be truely missed by all.  Thank you for everything you did for me & my family.    

Uncle Tommie was like an older brother. He was 8 years older than me and he was so much fun to be with while I was growing up. There was nothing he couldn’t do. He was always into something - go carts, model cars, and stuff. I remember him having these kits with little plastic parts and he would glue those things together in no time. He had model cars all over his room.  I was 11 when he went into the Navy and I think we all cried for a week!  I can still see him waving at us once he was seated at the window of the plane.  We couldn’t wait for him to come home, we would send letters via “Air Mail” and we loved getting mail back from him.  Time has flown by and now our hearts are broken. We will miss and love him, he was taken away to soon. I guess God needed him more than we did. Thank you Uncle Tommie for loving me and my family.  We love you and we will miss you, Debbie & Al

Tommie was a one-of-a-kind friend and colleague.  I worked with him at NOSL when he was a Tarter Missile Launcher mechanic in L-Bldg in 1982 & 1983, and then again on board ships with him when he was with BAE.  I remember I was in L-Bldg the day that he lost his fingers to a Launcher hatch cover.  He was always willing and enthusiastic to offer assistance to anything asked of him.  So sad to hear of his passing, he will be surely missed by many.
