Virgil "Sonny" Karl Fenn

Virgil “Sonny” Karl Fenn, 82, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 1, 2024. He was born on April 12, 1941, in Warren, Ohio, the son of Ermal (Swick) and Karl Fenn. He was a 1959 graduate of Kinsman High School who then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business at YSU. Soon after graduating college, he served his country in the US Army. He married L. Marlene White on May 3, 1969. He then worked at General Motors in Lordstown, Ohio where he retired after 31 years. Sonny was an avid fisherman for 50+ years - walleye fishing on Lake Erie and salmon fishing on Lake Ontario. He also enjoyed bowling, gardening, woodworking, cookouts, fish fries, and time spent with his family. He enjoyed all Cleveland Sports but especially the Cleveland Browns and Cavaliers. He was a faithful church member of Harvest Christian Assembly of God and was a Board Member of the Warren Family Mission.

Sonny was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Jan Griffis.

Sonny will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 54 years, L. Marlene Fenn; daughter, Sonya Fenn; son, Kyle (Shana) Fenn; grandchildren, Caleb, Abby (Cameron), Anna, Lydia (Jesse); sister, Roberta Thompson; and several extended family members and dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 20th, at 12 pm at Harvest Christian Assembly of God, 8798 E. Market, Warren, Ohio with Pastor Ron Biehl officiating. Calling hours will begin at 11 am.
