Walter William "Bill" Eisenmenger, 92, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2011 at the VA Medical Center where he received compassionate and loving care. Bill was a retired roto-retoucher for the old Standard Gravure where he worked for over 35 years. He was a graduate of Manual High School and a former member of Woodhaven and Hunting Creek Country Clubs. He loved his family, dancing, playing golf, gardening and projects.
Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Margaret Trautwein Eisenmenger.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Janice Ramsay; son, Daryl Eisenmenger (Jane); grandchildren Todd Ramsay (Sharon), Kelly Ramsay and Ashley Eisenmenger. He truely was a selfless husband, Dad, PawPaw and friend.
Bill's Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, August 29, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Monday from 10 a.m. till service time at the funeral home.
The family would like to extend a very special "Thank You" to Hosparus, the VA and Terry Smithers.
