Wanda was born in Louisville to the late Willard and Lucy Raymer. She had worked a variety of jobs including Supervisor of Environmental Services for the old Methodist Hospital and product demo for Sam’s Club. She was a former member of First United Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Joseph Johnson, her son Kevin Bunnell; brother, Willie Raymer; and sister, Norma Morrison. She is survived by her daughters Tammy Tannehill (John) and Jessica Pryor (Jamal); brother Billy Raymer (Lynne); sister Shirley Carroll; one grandchild, Lisa Howell; great-grandchildren Trenton, Alay’Jah, Aniah, Jayden, and Kailey; numerous nieces and nephews, her best friend Becky Claybrooke; and her beloved dog Brandy.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Monday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by burial at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Sunday.
