Billy was a member of Cove Baptist Church in Fairdale, KY.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Jo Ashford.
Billy is survived by his children, Larry Gene Ashford, Michael Wayne Ashford (Phyllis), and James Phillip Ashford (Susie Burvee); 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and sister, Dot Gillam (Grit).
Funeral service to honor the life of Billy will be 2pm on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Evergreen Funeral Home, with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation for the public will be from 11am-2pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
