Bill is preceded in passing by his parents Joseph Aloysius Borntraeger and Ruth Helen Cleary Borntraeger. Here to carry on his memory is his adoring husband, Dennie Hurst; sisters, Pat Peters and Mary Jhoslein (Bill); and loving nieces and nephews.
Bill enjoyed sports, art and music. He was an avid U of L fan. However, his favorite hobby was traveling with his husband through the U.S. and the world, creating many wonderful memories. Bill will be truly missed by many.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A funeral service in Bill’s honor will take place Monday at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Bill will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to The Center For The Arts.
