Born to the late Frank and Loula Cook, Buddy is also preceded in death by his children, Deborah Cook and William Cook, Jr.; and his six siblings.
Here to carry on his memory is his adoring wife of 62 years, Ruth Cook; his daughter Rebecca Cook; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Buddy was known for being extremely family-oriented, he was a wonderful provider and a loving husband and father. He loved to fish, hunt, and spend time outside talking to his neighbors. Buddy was very hardworking.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, with a funeral service in his honor beginning at 1:00 PM. Buddy will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
