Pierce, William “Andy” Sr., 90, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017. Andy was born in Paris, Tennessee to the late William B. and Annie (Hooper) Pierce. He was also preceded in death by his stepmother, Pauline (Huggins) Pierce; his wife, Sara Elizabeth (Wicks), and 3 sisters. Andy was a loyal member to Suburban Masonic Lodge #740, Kosair Temple Shrine, and a faithful member of Southeast Christian Church. Andy was an Army Veteran and served in World War II.
He is survived by his children; son, Andy and daughter, Jan Pierce; grandchildren, Mackenzie Ramsey (Trey), Alex Pierce (Amanda), Nikki Deacon (Josh), Casey Pierce, and Cameron Pierce; and 6 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 10:00am at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., Louisville Kentucky, with to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
