Andy was born in Louisville on January 27, 1951, to father, James Pollard and mother, Jessie Pollard. He loved to help anyone he considered family, worked as a truck driver for many years travelling the country, and was known for being an enthusiast for Harleys and NASCAR. Big Andy had a giant personality and had a good time wherever he went.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lillian Whitehead; and son, William Andrew Pollard Jr. "Little Andy".
Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Nigel (Diane) Pollard, Rosalie (Richard) Hill, and Heather “Susie” (Greg Hinton) Sullivan Pollard; and daughter, Amanda Glasscock (passed on October 16, 2023); grandchildren, Corey (Kelsi) Pollard, Austen (Cierra) Pollard, Ashley (Joshua) Glasscock, and Jonathan Glasscock; and great-grandchildren Knox, Jace, and Jasper.
No funeral or memorial was held per Andy’s wishes.
