William David Skeeters, 72, of Louisville, KY passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016. He was born April 2, 1944 in Louisville KY to the late Lonnie and Clela Skeeters. David was a United States Marine and bravely served his country as a sniper in Vietnam. He was also a member of St. Rita Catholic Church, Okolona Street Rods, and was retired from Ford Motor Co. David was also preceded in death, brother; Ross "Bud" Leadmon, sisters; Virginia Dickinson and Eva Faye Muench. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife; Judy Cary Skeeters, Children; Brandon Skeeters(Angie), Thad Cary(Melissa), Alta Welker(Michael), five grandchildren, one great grandchild, sisters; Jeanette Rodder(Johnny), Linda Testerman, brother; Carl Skeeters(Shirley), and a host of many other family members and friends. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 10am at St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Hwy, Louisville KY 40219 with entombment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
