Wilma Jean Buchanan

Wilma was retired from GE and was a member of Parkland Baptist Church. Wilma also enjoyed spending treasured time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William A. Buchanan; parents, William Leslie Sr., and Maude Jackson Hornback; and siblings Les, Juanita, J.C. and Calvin Hornback.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, William T. Buchanan (Lynne), Daniel L. Buchanan (Marcella), Lisa K. Persinger (Bob) and Robin A. Zirnheld (John); 14 grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Ted Hornback; four sisters-in-law and a host of nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.

Services will be private, under the direction of Evergreen Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Please visit our Face Book page, Evergreen Funeral Home and Evergreen Cemetery, for live streaming of the service beginning at noon on Tuesday.

Memorial contributions in Wilma’s name may be directed to Parkland Baptist Church or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
