Her mother, Elsie L. Miller was born on November 26, 1894, in Kentucky. She had one son and one daughter with Virgil Elmer Miller. She died on August 11, 1970, in Louisville, KY, at the age of 75

Her father, Virgil Elmer Miller was born about 1889, in Kentucky. He had two children with Elsie L. Miller and two more children.

Her husband, Joseph A. Westenhoefer was born on November 23, 1920, in Louisville KY. Joe died: 22 Oct 1999 in Louisville, KY, at the age of 78.

She worked in the mortgage loan business at Commonwealth Mortgage and in partnership with her husband, Joseph at his business.

She was a lifelong member, baptized, confirmed and married at Christ Evangelical, United Church of Christ, Louisville, KY.

She served on the Board of Directors of The Altenheim, and Highland Community Ministries, her church where she was treasurer for many years. She was an active member of the auxiliary for Brooklawn Home for Children & Family Services (now a part of Uspiritus). Her passions were her family, her church, and Brooklawn.

She is survived by her brother-in-law and companion Robert Westenhoefer, and cousins Clarence (Bud) Walther (Susan) of Seymour IN, Don Walther (Betty) of Chattanooga, TN, and Earl R. Walther (Karen) of Louisville, KY. Her 3 sister in laws Marie, Betty, and Kitty Westenhoefer, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, a cousin, Fred L. Walther of FL and a brother: Kenneth Miller, a half-sister, Elnora E. Hellmann, and a half-brother Virgil H. Miller.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am Thursday at Christ Evangelical United Church of Christ, 1228 East Breckenridge St. with burial to follow at Cave Hill. Visitation will be 2-8 pm Wednesday at Arch L. Heady Russman & Sons, 1201 E. Oak Street.
