She was a member of Greenwood United Baptist Church, a homemaker, and had worked for several years at Mills & Young Florist and Dixie Florist.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years Floyd “Jack” Poteet; sons Dudley Poteet (Debbie) and Kevin Poteet (Vanessa); a daughter, Karen Eastridge (Joe Huber); a brother, Wilbur Duvall; grandchildren, Tyler, Kaylin, Alyssa, Macey, Chasity, Davey, and Amanda; 3 great-grandchildren; and many friends. She will be dearly missed by all.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday at Greenwood United Baptist Church, 8708 Thompson Lane, followed by burial at Lone Hill United Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 pm Sunday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, and after 10:00 am Monday at the church.
